The Wrenthope Village Kiln located outside the community centre is a replica of a pot oven used when the village was a pottery centre. The idea to have a pottery kiln as a village centre piece was developed by WRENS as a year 2000 project although it took a few years to make it happen.

The learning moss garden project lead by Linda Guy has been further enhanced with log positioning rework, additional moss placement, addition of a weed prevention layer, addition of decorative pebbles and decorative plants.
